In February 2025, the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC), which uses safe driving as the primary scoring criterion, announced the latest summer tire test results. Continental Tires SportContact™ 7 was tested against a total of 18 internationally renowned brands of tires and won the championship. ADAC tested the popular 225/40R18 tire on a Volkswagen Golf and conducted multiple tests on dry and wet roads. The SportContact™ 7 achieved a braking distance of 28.4 meters in an 80-0 km emergency brake on a wet road, and a braking distance of 35.2 meters in an 100-0 km emergency brake on a dry road, winning the championship in these two tests where safety is of great importance. The ADAC said the SC7's performance on both wet and dry roads was impressive. On dry roads, the SC7 demonstrates very good steering feedback and very high grip, making it absolutely safe and precisely controllable even at the limit. In terms of braking distance on wet roads, SC7 has the shortest braking distance compared to its competitors, and is absolutely safe and easy to control on wet roads.

Since its launch in 2021, SportContact™ 7 has won more than a dozen independent media test titles and has retained the championship title multiple times in some tests.
