Manja Greimeier also pointed out that low rolling resistance, high efficiency and quiet rolling noise are the key to Continental's success in attracting electric vehicle manufacturers, because these characteristics can solve the problem of increased load and torque in electric vehicles, which leads to more prone to tire wear, and quiet rolling noise can resolve the problem of significant tire noise in electric vehicles due to the lack of an engine.

Among the 10 electric vehicle manufacturers with the highest sales in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the Americas, 9 chose Continental tires as their original equipment tires.

From 2023, the EV-Compatible logo on the sidewall indicates which tire models are designed specifically for use with electric vehicles. All Continental 7th generation tires are EV-Compatible, which means they can be used on both gasoline and electric vehicles and can achieve optimal performance.
