Tests demonstrate top quality of Continental tires

• New SportContact 7 is rated “outstanding / superior” by two motor magazines, for a total of seven test victories
• New PremiumContact 7 takes first place and gets top ratings
• Independent tire testers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK praise Continental’s summer tires

Hanover, Germany, April 26, 2023. Summer tires from Continental have won first place and received top ratings in tests this year by European motor magazines, auto clubs and online publications. The new SportContact 7 was the winner in all of the tests it took part in, for a total of total of seven published results this year. It was rated “outstanding” or “superior” three times. The PremiumContact 7 tire, which is also new, took first place in two of its four tests and got top ratings in two of them. The UltraContact was also a top scorer. The PremiumContact 6, which continues to be produced because it is specified as original equipment for a number of vehicle manufacturers, was rated “very good” by the magazine auto motor und sport and “good”, the best score given, by the German Automobile Club (ADAC). So far, tire comparisons have been published by experts in four European countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK). The SportContact 7, which was introduced last year, already received top ratings from the magazines sport auto (Issue 4/22) and AutoBild (Issue 13/22).
