On June 11th (Sunday), Westlake once again sponsored a local drifting competition, and jointly held the "Team Drift Missile Club Battle Round 3" drifting competition with Team Drift Missle at HKGSA's drift racing track in Lau Fau Shan. It was intense and exciting with more than 30 cars racing. The competition is divided into two groups, the solo drift group and the chasing drift group.
The game has professional referees to ensure the fairness and safety of the game. There are also maps and scoreboards in the competition, allowing participants to clearly understand their results, rankings and track information.
In the solo group, a group of rookies and veterans are encouraged to participate, and to complete the track with the best technical drift within a certain period of time, and rank according to the completion time. The design of the competition venue includes curves of different shapes and angles, which will test the driftng skills and handling, so that the contestants can fully demonstrate their drifting ability.
In the chasing group, participants need to chase the vehicle ahead in a section of the track, and drift to complete the track without touching obstacles. They are also ranked according to their performance. The track design of this group tests the contestants' chasing skills and reaction ability. In the final stage of the competition, the organizers made route changes before the final top 4 started, which increased the difficulty and excitement of the competition. After changing the route, the drivers need to face a new track design. Such a race design would not only improve the fun of the competition, but also maximised the skills and experience used of the drivers.
In the semi-finals, Wah, Hung, and Shing, who also were riding with Sport RS, all successfully entered the semi-finals. Among them, Hung and Shing won the second and third place respectively. Congratulations to the driver with Sport RS for another victory!
In conclusion, "Team Drift Missile - Club Battle Round 3" is a very exciting and interesting drifting competition day, which provides a competitive platform for the drivers, and also increases the difficulty and excitement of the competition.
